At CBD Validated, our mission is two-fold. We aim to educate people about the potential benefits of cannabinoids, primarily cannabidiol (CBD). We also exist to validate claims made by manufacturers regarding their products. Currently, the industry is unregulated, and unfortunately with that comes fly by night manufacturers who claim that their products contain CBD, when they contain very little to none.
Cannabinoids, and particularly cannabidiol, are a family of chemicals that has become a focal point in the research community. CBD has been proven to have a better side effect profile, with the most commonly reported side effects being tiredness, diarrhea, and changes in appetite/weight[1]https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5569602/. Our Process
We independently verify brands and their associated products with an internally developed process. We manually collect data for each brand. We aggregate review data from trusted sources on the web, converting scores to a 5 point system that is weighted based on the source of the review. Next, we collect the certificate of authenticity for each product and validate that the reported values are within spec for each analyte. For some products, we have an internal team member purchase the product, take it, and review it to see how well they react to the product. We only feature brands on our site that pass our validation process.

Part of our validation process involves having a member of our team test different products. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact us. If selected, we will train you on our internal process and you will be fairly compensated.
We may receive a commission on any brand/product that we evaluate, but that does not affect our validation process or rank in any way.
